Hi there,
Well we are well under way and it’s time to give you all an update.
We are travelling pretty much to schedule, thanks to all who came to registration day and thanks to all of our coaches and committee members who gave up their time. We had over 220 players register on the day and we have
approx 290 to date, we are estimating approx 330 in total. We welcome back all of last years players and welcome our new recruits and their families.
As from last week we have registered the following teams:
9 blue,9 gold, 10 blue, 10 gold, 11 blue, 11 gold, 12 blue, 12 gold, 13 blue, 13 gold, 14’s, 15’s & 17’s.
All double teams will train as squads until we spilt into two teams approx march 14th.

Friday night Sausage Sizzles - |
Friday night Sausage sizzles will start late March.
We would like to see parent volunteers from a different team each week.
We will look at rostering this.

Jumper Presentation - |
Scheduled for Friday the 28th of March. Details to follow.

Practice Matches - |
We will be playing Whittlesea at home on the 30th all teams from 10’s to 17’s will play.

Fixtures : Round 1- |
The season will kick off on April 6th. Fixtures will be released by the NFL by mid March.
|
Fee's & Apparel - |
We will have a table set up Wednesdays from 5.15pm till 7.00pm and on Fridays from 5.30 pm till 8.00pm.
You can pay your fees and or apparel and receive all apparel there and then.
All fee’s must be paid in full by round 3. Please note the club has outlaid over $40,000 to date for apparel and gear.
Please remember - You must have your shorts and socks to play round 1, so make sure you get them asap !
We have a range of apparel for general sale with sizes to suit all, see one of the committee at the table to check out the range. The kids look great in their club Hoodies, the parents could too!

Game Day Helpers - |
Every team requires the following full time positions:
We also have to fill the following positions each week: 2 Water boys, Goal umpire, Boundary umpire, Umpire escort, interchange Stewart, time keeper and score board attendant.
PLEASE DON’T STAND BACK AND JUST WATCH ... THESE POSiTIONS MUST BE FILLED !!
We will be running training nights prior to the season start on all of the above positions.

Canteen - |
The canteen has a full time manager, but we require the services of volunteers every Sunday to ensure there are 3 people serving the canteen at all times.
You could do an hour before and or after your childs game. Please let us know if you can help.
If we don’t get volunteers we may have to Roster a rep from each team each week !
